The Hub
With many in poverty choosing between heating and eating, or missing out on life’s happy moments, we decided to create a physical space to reach the people that need it.
That space is The Hub in Coatbridge.
Set in one of Scotland’s most deprived areas, it opened in October 2023, and has since welcomed hundreds of adults and children.
Programmes delivered at The Hub
Though what we offer at The Hub is always evolving, we have some sessions that we deliver week-in week-out to support local people and those who want to join us from further afield.
Mother & Baby/Toddler Sessions
Giving Mums a safe and welcoming space to interact with others, get a cuppa and seek support.
Youth Groups
3 sessions a week welcoming 7-14 year olds from 4.30pm. This can include fun and games, creative and crafting and homework support – with a hot meal and drink served.
Teenager Safe Space
A weekly evening session for teens to come and hang out in a warm and safe space. We have iPads for browsing, games consoles for fun, books and crafts so every teen has something they’ll enjoy.
Adult Wellbeing
These morning sessions welcome Adults in Coatbridge and beyond to a warm and safe place where they can get advice and support, and build connections with others

Using the Hub to deliver your support
On Tuesdays we welcome like-minded charities and social organisations to use our space to deliver support.
We ask that it is connected to our goal – which is to help people who are living in poverty.
So whether you host a wellness class, give financial advice or offer mental health support (or anything else) we’d love to hear from you.
Please get in touch to discuss opportunities with our team.
The Hub will evolve and grow with the community to ensure we reach the right people and support them with what they need. From giving people support and advice to find work, to workshops on a range of topics, we will keep working on making The Hub a better place to be.
Work with us
We’re always on the lookout for like-minded partners and charities who can help us support those in poverty.
We’ve worked with partners like Homeless Project Scotland, Poverty Alliance, SAMH and Circle Scotland – but more are welcome.
If you think we could work together to make a bigger impact, please get in touch.
