Support Us
The poverty crisis in Scotland is not set to improve any time soon. Every day, the 1 in 5 people affected by poverty are making tough decisions – should they heat their home or put food on the table? Where will they sleep that night? How can they support their children?
We are committed to helping people in this situation. We want to make their life better and where possible give them the support they need to work their way out of poverty. But we simply can’t do it without your help – and there are lots of ways you can support our work.
Every penny counts
Donating or fundraising
Every penny helps. So whether you’d like to fundraise for us or make a one off donation, every amount is gratefully received.
Just £5 could pay for someone to eat a meal at our community Hub or when we serve food to the homeless.
Other funds can help towards treating a family to a fun day out during the school holidays or giving a Christmas gift to a child in need.
Lend a hand
Volunteering for Manorview Foundation
We are always looking for volunteers to support at our Hub in Coatbridge – or out and about in the city or other locations.
If you’re passionate about making a difference to people’s lives, or have experience in working with children we’d love to hear from you. Please note that for some volunteering we will require a PVG check which we can help arrange.
If you’re interested, please contact our team.
Our Baby Bank Drive
Donate items to our appeal
This March we’re launching our Baby Bank drive to support Mums who are facing financial hardship.
We are welcoming donations of essentials like nappies, wipes, dummies and warm clothes.
If you’d like to donate please contact us for further information.
Helping kids get crafty
The children who attend The Hub at Coatbridge love arts and crafts! From paper and pens to craft kits, we’ll happily accept donations of materials they will love.
Creativity is vital as it fosters mental growth, helps them navigate emotions and allows them to express themselves. So donations of creative materials are gratefully received.
