The poverty crisis in Scotland is not set to improve any time soon. Every day, the 1 in 5 people affected by poverty are making tough decisions – should they heat their home or put food on the table? Where will they sleep that night? How can they support their children?
We are committed to helping people in this situation. We want to make their life better and where possible give them the support they need to work their way out of poverty. But we simply can’t do it without your help – and there are lots of ways you can support our work. 100% of the funds we raise go directly to helping people. As a small charity, our overhead costs are intentionally kept to a minimum, and our team’s salaries are paid for by Manorview Hotels and the national lottery fund.
One of the ways you can support us is by fundraising! In doing so, you’ll provide us with the vital funds we need to help people in poverty. Whether you’re participating in a physical challenge like hiking or running a marathon, or hosting an event with colleagues, friends or family, or something else - HOW you fundraise is completely up to you! Cash Donations
Another way you can support our work is with a cash donation. Every penny you donate goes directly to supporting people experiencing poverty. With a small team and low overheads, we’ll make sure every penny is spent in the most impactful way possible.

We work with communities and organisations to understand and deliver what people experiencing poverty most need. In the past, this has included winter-wear for Children, christmas gifts, hot meals for vulnerable members of community, or essential toiletry supplies. We are extremely thankful for corporate supporters who provide goods, services or resources free of charge or at a highly-discounted rate, as it helps our funding go further. Previously this has included providing food for the children’s christmas parties and giving free bus transport for kids and families for our events and days out.
