Impact Report: 1,766 acts of kindness in December

We deliver support to people in poverty via four different strands; Manorview Communities, Manorview Pathways, Manorview Roots and Manorview Moments. You can find out about what these are on our What We Do page.

We like to think of our work as ‘acts of kindess’, and reflect on what we’ve delivered each month.

In December 2025:

  • 100 Irn-Bru Carnival tickets were gifted to North Lanarkshire families to enjoy a festive day out

  • 30 children enjoyed a Christmas cinema trip

  • 1,277 children from areas of deprivation enjoyed a FREE christmas party with meal, games, Santa visit and gift

  • 45 games and selection boxes were gifted to families via Johnstone Castle Community Centre

  • We provided 60 steak pie dinners via Community Meals at Johnstone Burgh

  • We had over 185 visits to our various community sessions from all ages - babies, toddlers, youth and adults

  • We provided winter kits (warm coats, gloves and socks) to 18 children in Renfrewshire, thanks to the generous donations from the team at Manorview Hotels

  • 50 people from Coatbridge enjoyed M&D’s Circus and bowling

  • We also organised, in partnership with Specsavers for a young boy of 18 to receive specialist sports glasses to provide him with vision and ensure he can continue playing football.

Thank you to our volunteers, fundraisers, our supporter Manorview Hotels and their various suppliers who helped, and Cash for Kids. Without this support this wouldn’t be possible.

We’ll continue to post our monthly impact reports online so that you can see how your support is helping us make life better for people experiencing poverty.
