Impact Report: January 2026

We had a great start to the year helping over 592 people in Central Scotland who are experiencing hardship and poverty. See what we got up to below.

Susan Spence from Manorview Foundation joined by volunteers from Manorview Hotels to help feed the homeless.

FEEDING THE HOMELESS

On New Year’s Day, our team, supported by Volunteers from Manorview Hotels and in partnership with Homeless Project Scotland, provided 350 meals to Glasgow’s homeless people.

FREE COMMUNITY SESSIONS

We had 186 visits to our free community sessions hosted in Coatbridge - with all ages from babies to adults joining us.

LUNCH FOR PARENTS

Through Achieve More Scotland, we were able to reach out to parents who deserved some respite and comfort, and took them for a delicious lunch at The Busby Hotel. 40 parents joined us for the free lunch. This is part of our ‘Manorview Moments’ scheme that aims to deliver the joy and comfort hospitality can bring, to those in need.

Our charity lead Susan Spence with the lovely parents we connected with through Achieve More Scotland, at The Busby Hotel.

EMPLOYMENT PATHWAYS

We welcomed 10 young people to The Redhurst for a taster of what it’s like to work in hospitality. This is part of Manorview Pathways which aims to improve outcomes for young people and encourage people into employment.

MENTORING

We completed 6 mentoring sessions for vulnerable young people - where we touch on all matter of subjects from their education to work and life goals. Thanks to MCR Pathways for connecting our team with young mentees.

Thank you to our funders, supporters and partners who help us make life better for people in need.
