Impact Report: September 2026

September was another busy and rewarding month for the Manorview Foundation as we continued supporting individuals, families and communities across Scotland. From providing meals and essential items to creating opportunities for young people and supporting pathways into employment, our work this month resulted in an estimated 1,020 acts of kindness

Supporting Our Local Communities

Our community sessions in Coatbridge continued to provide a welcoming space for local people to connect, access support and spend time together. Throughout September, we welcomed an estimated 176 visits, highlighting the importance of having safe and supportive spaces within our communities.

We also provided 60 poverty hygiene bags to families, helping provide essential everyday items and offering practical support to those who may be experiencing financial pressures.

A Warm Meal and a Helping Hand

Supporting people experiencing homelessness remained an important part of our work throughout September.

We were delighted to provide a Steak Pie dinner for 350 people experiencing homelessness, offering a warm and nourishing meal while creating an opportunity to show care and compassion.

Alongside this, we provided 200 sandwiches and additional support through Help the Homeless, as well as 200 hot snacks for people experiencing homelessness.

Food and practical support may seem like simple things, but they can make a meaningful difference to someone experiencing a difficult time.

Making Memories

We believe that everyone should have opportunities to enjoy new experiences, have fun and create positive memories.

This month, 20 children enjoyed a September weekend trip to Wain’s World Soft Play, complete with lunch. Days like these give children the chance to enjoy time together, build friendships and simply have fun.

Creating Opportunities for Young People

We continued to support young people through opportunities to learn, develop and explore their potential.

As part of our work with GROW, 10 students took part in a hospitality taster session, giving them an insight into the industry and the different opportunities available within hospitality.

We also continued our partnership with MCR Pathways, delivering four mentoring sessions during September. These sessions help young people build confidence, develop positive relationships and explore their aspirations for the future.

We’re incredibly proud of everything our teams, partners and supporters have helped make possible throughout September. A huge thank you to everyone who continues to give their time, energy and support to the Manorview Foundation.

Together, we’re helping to create kinder, stronger and more connected communities.
