1,400 kids hosted at our Christmas parties

Christmas should be a time of wonder, laughter, and joy for children. But for many families facing hardship, the magic of the season can feel out of reach. That’s why, we are deeply committed to making life better for those living in poverty – ensuring that children, no matter their circumstances, get to experience the true spirit of Christmas.

After the incredible success of our kids Christmas parties in 2023, we set out once again to bring festive joy to children who might otherwise go without.

Throughout December, Boclair House, Bowfield Hotel, The Busby, Brisbane House, Cornhill Castle, Lynnhurst, The Redhurst, and The Torrance became hubs of festive joy, hosting 14 Christmas parties for 1,400 children from local schools – at no cost - for an unforgettable experience of joy, games and festive fun.

At the heart of it all was our unwavering commitment to making life better for those living in poverty. From exciting party games to non-stop dancing, the energy was infectious. And because no Christmas celebration is complete without a festive feast, we ensured every child enjoyed a delicious meal, filling hearts and bellies alike.

Of course, everyone was awaiting the arrival of the man in red himself - Santa Claus! With his twinkling eyes, warm smile, and a sack brimming with gifts, he lit up the faces of every child in the room. Seeing their eyes widen with wonder reminds us of why we host our Christmas parties - to bring happiness, hope, and some Christmas magic to those who need it most.

None of this would have been possible without the generosity of our incredible partners, suppliers, and team members from Manorview Hotels. Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, or contributed in any way - including our DJs, food from Brakes, ice cream from Porelli, Santa hats from Aspire Glasgow, party crackers from Alliance and gift bags from Special Days Cakes.

Thanks also to the Manorview Hotels team members who donated chocolate selection boxes and gave their time to bring these parties to life. Our DJs and entertainers filled the rooms with fun, and our volunteers ensured each child felt special.

We’re already planning for Christmas 2025, because every child deserves a Christmas filled with love, laughter, and a little bit of magic.
