Impact Report: July 2026
July was another positive month for the Manorview Foundation as we continued supporting individuals, families, and community groups through a range of initiatives across Scotland. Thanks to the generosity of our teams, partners, and supporters, we delivered an estimated 680 acts of kindness, providing practical support, creating memorable experiences, and bringing communities together.
Supporting Our Communities
Our weekly community sessions in Coatbridge continued to provide a welcoming space for local people to connect, access support, and enjoy time together. Throughout July, we welcomed an estimated 167 visits to these sessions, highlighting the ongoing need for safe, inclusive spaces where people feel supported and valued.
We also supported 60 families with hygiene boxes filled with everyday essentials, helping to ease some of the financial pressures many households continue to face.
Helping Those Experiencing Homelessness in Glasgow
Our outreach work in Glasgow remained an important part of our mission throughout the month. Together with our partners, we distributed 200 freshly made sandwiches to people experiencing homelessness, providing a simple but meaningful source of nourishment and demonstrating that even small acts of kindness can make a real difference.
Bringing Communities Together
Community connection remained at the heart of our work this month. We were delighted to welcome 23 ladies from the Johnstone Castle Community Group to enjoy a meal together at Lynnhurst. Opportunities like these help tackle social isolation, strengthen friendships, and create lasting memories in a warm and welcoming environment.
Supporting Young People
We were pleased to provide 30 members of The Hub Youth Group with an exciting trip to Air Thrill in East Kilbride. Experiences like these give young people the chance to build confidence, strengthen friendships, and enjoy opportunities they may not otherwise have access to during the summer holidays.
Supporting Families Through Community Events
We were proud to support 200 children at the Johnstone Burgh Community Day by providing sweet treats and juice, helping families enjoy a fantastic day of fun and celebration. It's always a privilege to play a small part in creating special moments for local children and their families.
Every act of kindness, whether it's supporting a family with essentials, providing food to someone experiencing homelessness, bringing communities together over a meal, or creating opportunities for young people, helps build stronger, kinder communities.
We're looking forward to expanding our reach and finding even more ways to support those who need it most. A huge thank you to everyone who makes this work possible.
