Impact Report: June 2026
June was another busy and rewarding month for the Manorview Foundation as we continued supporting individuals, families, and community groups through a wide range of initiatives across Scotland. Thanks to the generosity of our teams, partners, and supporters, we delivered an incredible 1,080 acts of kindness, helping people of all ages through practical support, community engagement, and meaningful opportunities.
Supporting Our Communities
Our weekly community sessions in Coatbridge continued to provide a welcoming space for local people to connect, access support, and enjoy time together. Throughout June, we welcomed 256 visits to these sessions, demonstrating the importance of creating safe and inclusive spaces within our communities.
We also supported 60 families with hygiene boxes filled with everyday essentials, helping to relieve some of the financial pressures many households continue to face.
Helping Those Experiencing Homelessness in Glasgow
Our outreach work in Glasgow remained a key focus throughout the month. Alongside our partners, we provided 350 hot meals to people experiencing homelessness, ensuring those in need had access to warm, nourishing food.
In addition, we distributed 200 portions of fresh fruit, juice, and new socks, offering not only practical support but also an opportunity to connect with people who often need a friendly conversation just as much as essential supplies.
Inspiring The Next Generation
At Lynnhurst Hotel, we welcomed 10 children to enjoy a hospitality taster session, giving them an insight into the exciting opportunities available within the industry. Experiences like these help build confidence, develop new skills, and inspire future careers in hospitality.
We also continued our partnership with MCR Pathways, completing 4 mentoring sessions in local high schools. Through these sessions, we continue to provide encouragement, guidance, and support to young people as they plan for their futures.
Supporting Families Through Community Events
Summer got off to a fantastic start as we supported 200 children attending a local summer fayre with sweet treats and juice. It was wonderful to play a small part in creating smiles and helping families enjoy a fun-filled day together.
Every act of kindness, whether it's providing a meal, mentoring a young person, supporting a family, or creating memorable experiences for children, contributes to stronger and more connected communities.
As we move into the summer months, we're excited to continue building on this momentum and finding new ways to support those who need it most. A huge thank you to everyone who helps make this work possible. Together, we're continuing to make a real difference - one act of kindness at a time.
